USB-C port to Microsoft’s Surface Pro and Surface Laptop computers USB-C PD surface connect charging cable with braided 2M
Want to charge your Microsoft Surface on-the-go? This adapter converts the proprietary Microsoft Surface Connect port used for charging to USB-C power delivery. Perfect for charging your Surface with a powerbank or USB C wall charger . 15V Power Delivery (PD) is REQUIRED

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft Surface Go: 30W PD (15V/2A) or 45W PD (15V/3A)
Microsoft Surface Pro 3/4/5/6: 45W PD (15V/3A) or greater
Microsoft Surface Laptop: 45W PD (15V/3A) or greater
Microsoft Surface Book 1/2: 45W PD (15V/3A) or greater
18W, 24W and 29W will not work. If your USB-C charger came with your phone or iPad, it will not work.
Most Apple USB-C chargers will not work because 15V output is not supported. Apple 87W charger is not compatible.
As a reference, check your original charger's power output. If your original Surface charger is 36W or 44W, then you will need a 45W PD (15V/3A) power source.

you can now purchase a cable that lets you directly connect a Surface Pro or Surface Laptop to a USB-C power bank or wall adapter for charging. The mslforce Surface Connect to USB-C Charging cable costs $11.99 at 2m Length with braided and is available to order now.
one end of the six-foot cord has Microsoft’s proprietary Surface Connect adapter, while the other end is a standard USB-C plug. I tested the cable with both a Surface Pro and a Surface Laptop, and Its able to charge both devices using either a USB-C PD battery pack or a USB-C wall charger.
at 15V and it will work with most USB-C power delivery (PD) devices, including portable power bank with PD or batteries. If you’re using a Surface Go, the battery or wall charger needs to output at least 29W (though if you’re using a Go, you don’t really need this cable as it already has a USB-C port built-in). The Surface Pro and Surface Laptop demand at least 36W.
This cable is technically not as versatile as Microsoft’s adapter since it doesn’t support data transfer or video output; it’s solely used for charging.
Even with those limitations, the Surface Connect to USB-C Charging cable makes it easy for Surface device owners to charge their laptops with the same power brick they might use for their phones or use a portable battery pack to juice up on the go. Until Microsoft fully adopts USB-C across its devices, this is the next best thing.
