A:Product is high quality, comes with long (3-4ft) usb c cable, and does exactly what I need it for. I have a rare monitor issue that this switch solved, I have 1 main monitor with 2 additional side monitors, a 4k television, and a 144hz display for my racing simulator. Adding all of these displays together I have 5, however my nvidia graphics card only supports 4 displays (although it has 6 ports.) Instead of having to switch cables at the back of my computer, disconnect and reconnect displays via windows display manager (which often almost breaks my system,) or having to run off of integrated graphics which would further overload my outdated processor, I can simply press a button that disconnects my tv and connects to my sim display. It does take 5-10 seconds to fully make the switch, however this is not a problem for me.

Save space , Easy setup for my working space
Like many people during the pandemic, my household has been working more often remotely. We live in an apartment (with my elderly mom) so not much space for two people to work from home. Fortunately we have a den that we use as an office. We needed a set up where we could use the office more often without having to switch laptops in an out to utilize our one monitor. The office is very comfortable as it is set up so one can be productive. The splitter/switcher has been a great solution for our situation. We have a monitor stand and we place our laptops underneath the stand (stacked on top of each other). We also do not move the laptops often. But, we leave the laptop that needs to be moved more often on the top for easier accessibility and less headache. Also, I found that you have to change the sleep and shut down settings to never sleep or shutdown if you keep both laptops in the closed position. Otherwise the splitter scenario may not work well because it requires you to open the laptop to reboot the machine which is a pain if you set it up like in our photo. If you have a situation where you don't need to stack your devices then the sleep settings will not be an issue. We stack our devices to utilize more desk space and to tidy up the space (looks less cluttered). The splitter is very easy to use. You just press the button when you want to switch from one device to another.
