This innovative tool-free design allows quick installation of an M.2 NGFF SSD in seconds. Simply remove the plastic cover using the locking latch, insert the SSD and secure with the flexible peg, then reinstall the cover. The peg can be moved to support multiple M.2 SSD form factors: 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230. Includes three thermal pads to improve heat transfer to the aluminum heat dissipation.

FAQ
Q: The external box (adapter / docking station) is not displayed in the "My Computer" folder ?
A): If this happens, it means that the Windows operating system did not assign a drive letter to the new storage device.
B): If the drive letter is not assigned, open "Disk Management", right-click on the desired drive and manually assign the drive letter. If the drive letter can not be assigned to the disk, it is possible that the disk is formatted as "dynamic". If you want to keep disk data, connect it to the original device and make a backup of the disk. Then convert it to a normal disk, initialize it to MBR (or GPT, see other points), and then perform Low Level Format (e.g. using the Low Level Format Tool)
Q: What is the maximum capacity of this enclosure?
A: NVMe does not specify a maximum capacity like older hard drive technologies, so long as the drive conforms to the NVMe standard it can be used in this enclosure.
Q: Does this enclosure support USB4 PCIe mode?
A: No, this is a USB 10Gbps enclosure, when connected to a USB4 or Thunderbolt host the drive will operate as a USB 3 device at USB 10Gbps speeds.
